Columns and Width as Factors for Wordpress Themes

Normally, wordpress themes arrive in 2 column themes or 3 column themes with the widths varying from 500 – 960 pixels wide.
When your blog is a non-profit type, the 2-column format may appear more packed in and reader-friendly. This is because you will incorporate fewer images or product links to another websites. With this you may be able to center wholly on your content with no need to direct your readers to another website.
The 3-column format is preferable for a profitable blog since it can accommodate text link ads, chitika and Google adsense without the necessity to squeeze all in a particular area.
